Brows FAQ

  • This depends on each clients growth cycle. For slower growth we recommend anywhere between 6-8 weeks and for medium to strong growth we recommend 4 weeks.

  • Normal tint is no designed to stain the skin so it may last 1-2 days on the skin maximum and on the hairs up to 2-4 weeks.

    Brow dye is a re-formulated tint designed to stain both skin and hairs, lasting up to 2 weeks on the skin and 6 weeks on the hair.

  • I do not recommend waxing over areas that have been in contact with active skin treatments in the past 7 days before your appointment to avoid skin grazing.

  • I do not recommend having your brows tinted if you have just had a fresh spray tan as this will cause discolouration of the tint. It is recommended to have your Brow Sculpt done prior toy our spray tan appointment.

  • By keeping your freshly tinted brows makeup free, avoid using active skincare around the brow area and try not yo get your brows wet for 24 hours.

Fine Line Tattooing FAQ

  • Not all booking requests are accepted - Emily has the right to refuse a booking if she feels she is not the right artists.

    Please allow 4-5 business days for a response to your booking request form.

  • Please have something to eat and be hydrated before your appointment. Remove any hair from the tattoo area & ensure you are wearing the appropriate clothing to suit the placement of your tattoo.

    Avoid consuming alcohol the night before/day of your appointment (alcohol can increase the bleeding).

    Avoid using numbing cream prior to your appointment, numbing cream may affect the healing process of your tattoo.

    The skin that is being tattooed must not be damaged in any way (sunburn, bruises, abrasions, acne/ingrown hairs etc). Please reschedule your booking should the area not be suitable to be tattooed.

  • Fine Line tattoo is generally a two-step process and a touch up to your tattoo may be required.

    Touch ups are free for up to 6 months after your booking and can be completed any time after 8 weeks of healing, given that the client has followed Emily Kate Beauty's recommended aftercare instructions.

    Touch ups on hands and fingers come at a cost of $30.

    Touch ups requested after 6 months from the time of your booking come at a cost of $30.

    Emily does not touch up tattoos completed by other artists.

  • Emily does not offer tattoos above the shoulders (neck, ear, face etc).

    Finger and hand tattoos are only done on a case by case basis.

  • Quotes are intended on an approximate estimate and are subject to change.
